KidORCA: Our New Favorite Toddler Mud Boot!

KidORCA: Our New Favorite Toddler Mud Boot!

Not sure about yours, but our household never has a shortage of mud.  While some seasons of the year are decidedly more notorious than others, I find myself battling muddy feet, clothes, shoes, hair (yes, hair!), sometimes on a daily basis.  It’s like every mud puddle has an irrestisible gravitational pull around it that my kids are destined to become one with.  Which is why, in our household, there is also never a shortage of mud boots.  Many times we happen upon free boots in exchange for an honest gear review – you can find our previous love for STONZ…Read the rest of this entry →

Hey-o, Veyo’s Back!

Hey-o, Veyo’s Back!

Ok so this darling little company that makes amazing kid’s mittens didn’t actually go anywhere, but I reeeeaaaally wanted that to be the title of my post, so indulge me please.  Although if you live in the South, you probably haven’t given winter gear a second thought since, say, February.  But it’s that time of year again, the time when you drag out all that winter wear and realize JUST HOW MUCH your kiddos have grown in a matter of mere months (and also how much you love that cute pair of super warm boots…but that’s for another post.) So for those…Read the rest of this entry →

M.A.P. Footwear Review

M.A.P. Footwear Review

A few months ago our family got the chance to try out some children’s shoes from M.A.P footwear.  Each kiddo got to choose a pair (Troy for Big C, and Lillith Toddler for Little Z.)  Both pairs are similar in style to outdoorsy children’s shoes from other brands.  Cute, yet very functional, ie Mary Janes with a very thick sole. Prior to this review, I’d never heard of M.A.P before, but after realizing their name stands for “Motion, Adventure, and Play,” it was a match made in heaven, because those 3 words are a few of our favorite things! What first caught…Read the rest of this entry →

Veyo Mittyz: World’s Best Mitten for Kids!

This post is for all of us out there that have had to endure the painstaking process of gearing up a child under the age of 5 to play outside in cold weather.  (If you HAVEN’T experienced the agony pleasure, tag along with a mom friend one morning at the park…it’s the stuff birth control is made of.)  But for those of you that are wrestling with boots, gloves, hats, scarves, coats, and cranky toddlers every morning, here’s a little something that might just rock your world a little bit. They’re called “mittyz,” and they are made by Veyo Kids, a…Read the rest of this entry →

Winter Footwear for Kids (from STONZ)

Winter Footwear for Kids (from STONZ)

A couple of months ago I was contacted by STONZwear about reviewing some of their awesome footwear for the kiddos.  They said they wanted the review done by the end of October…which in many areas of the country would be easy, but was potentially problematic here in the South.  While the weather can definitely get cold by then, we are more often than not still sporting short sleeves well past Halloween.  So when I saw the weekend forecast a couple of weeks ago, I was psyched for the chance to try out the newest kicks for the crag-kiddos on our…Read the rest of this entry →
